Forming the passive:
  • Identify the subject and the object.
  • Change the place of the object. 
  • Note the tense of the active sentence.
  • Change it to the matching form of the passive (see SS).
  • Use the correct form of to be + past participle of the main verb
  • Remember there may be additional auxiliary verbs -tense
Active: Milou has read an interesting book.
Passive:  An interesting book was read (by Milou).
