Write in pairs! - 120 words

1. In pairs you are going to write a detective story

2. One person writes the story in the active voice. - 60 words

3. The other person writes the same story in the passive voice - 60 words

4. Use this starting sentence:

Active:

Someone had stolen Mrs. Appleby’s prized tomato, and I was the only one taking it seriously...

Passive:

Mrs. Appleby’s prized tomato had been stolen, and it was being taken seriously only by me...
