On the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month, a minutes' silence is observed and dedicated to those soldiers who died fighting to protect the nation.

Make your own poppy!
1. Cut out the poppy elements on the handout
2. Colour in the poppy, or trace it on red paper
Or if you have different ideas, that's fine too!
3. Put the different pieces together
4. Put a split pen in it or a pin to keep the pieces together
5. Add a stem if you want!
