Modals
Je kunt hulpwerkwoorden gebruiken om aan te geven dat je iets (NIET) kan doen, mag doen, wil doen, enzovoorts.

- Can you walk to school?                    - I might come to your party.
- You shouldn't walk to school.          - I must clean this up.
- I will walk to school.                             - You have to be on time.

Types of Modals: 1
Can (not) = kunnen
Could (not) = zou kunnen (en beleefde vragen)
"I can't come to your party" & "Could you help me out?"

May (not) = mogen 
Might (not) = zou mogen (en beleefde vragen)
"You may come to my party." & "I might be able to come."

Should (not) / ought (not) to = zou (eigenlijk) moeten, vooral bij advies/afraden
Must (not) = moeten (als je zelf vindt dat iets moet) / dringend
Have to = moeten (als iemand anders vindt dat iets moet) regel
don't have to= niet hoeven!

"I must finish this book this afternoon."
"You have to be on time tomorrow." 
"You should really pay more attention in class."
