You use 'some' in:

- In questions where you expect the answer will be yes

You use 'any' in:

- negative statements I don't have any friends.

-Most questions

You make a word plural by adding an 's' after that word.

banana - bananas

pizza - pizzas

Sometimes you have to add 'es' to a word to make it plural

If a word ends with an 's' sound

sandwich - sandwiches

If a word ends with an 'o'

potato - potatoes

mango - mangoes

If a word ends with a 'y'

strawberry - strawberries

cherry - cherries
