Signal words: Last ... / yesterday / in the year (somewhere in the past)

Regular verb	Add -ed to the infinitive
Irregular verb	Study the verb list
Verb ends in E	Add -d to the infinitive
Verb ends in y (except for 'play')	Remove y and add -ied
Verb ends in C	Add -ked

Give an example of a past simple sentence using: 'last summer'

Give an example of a past simple sentence using the verb: 'make'
