Je maakt vragen in de past simple door 'did' vooraan de zin te zetten.

Regel: Geen vorm van to be? --> did + hele werkwoord.
               Wel vorm van to be? --> Herhaal dat werkwoord.

    Regel: Bij een vraagzin in de past continuous zetten we de vorm van 'to be' (was/ were) vooraan de zin.

    Hoe ziet de Past Continuous eruit in een ontkenning?

    > Jonah was not walking with his brother. 
    The dogs were sleeping on the couch.

    Regel: Bij een ontkennende zin in de past continuous zetten we not/ n't achter de vorm van 'to be' (was/ were).
