Present Perfect

What do we remember?

Present Perfect Simple

We use the Present Perfect Simple to talk about things that we can still notice the result of today. We also use it to talk about things which started in the past and are still true today.

The Present Perfect Simple is made using;

have/has + past participle

Present Perfect Continuous

We use the Present Perfect Continuous to talk about things that started in the past with emphasis on the duration.

The Present Perfect Continuous is made using;

have/has + been + (verb+ing)
