Problems with Feudalism
1. Vassals would not return their land
2. Vassals fought with eachother to gain power 
3. The king would be too far away to keep his vassals in check 
4. Vassals would split their fiefs up: rear vassals

The kingdom is split up for his sons! 
However, the sons kept fighting.
They were rather bad rulers and couldnt keep the vassals in check. 
Result: other families took power. They promised the vassals a lot of freedoms.
