What do I expect from you? 
  • Respect naar elkaar en naar mij, open houding, veilige omgeving  (we create this together!!)
  • communiceer met mij als je iets niet snapt/een vraag hebt/ een goed idee hebt/ iets niet gemaakt hebt. 
  • probeer altijd in het Engels te antwoorden (ik wil zo min mogelijk Nederlands horen), fouten maken hoort bij een taal leren dus wees niet bang!
  • hand opsteken als je een vraag hebt of naar de wc wilt 
  • boeken, notitieboek (iets om notities mee te maken), Ipad altijd mee (vergeet je oplader niet)!
  • Water drinken mag 
  • telefoons in de tassen of telefoonzak en tassen van de tafels 
  • vaste opstelling tot de herfst

Homework 
  • Homework will be found on Magister (every Friday for the whole next week, but not this Friday)
  • Make sure that you study/prepare the exercises 
  • I will check your homework every Friday and I will do a little test to check if you know your words/grammar 
  • No homework yet as I do not have the correct books

Speaking game: who am I?
  • One student needs to sit in front of the class and secretly writes down a famous person.
  • All the teams in the class need to ask questions.
  • The student in front of the class can only answer with yes or no. 
  • The goal: try to find out as a class who this famous person is.

Speaking game: pick one question: 
  • Would you rather be really big or really small?
  • Homework should be banned. Agree or disagree?
  • Would you rather have a superpower of your own choice or a have your favourite song play everytime you walk into a room?

  • Kids are smarter than grown-ups. Agree or disagree?
  • Should teachers have to wear a school uniform?
  • Is it better to be rich with no friends or poor with many friends?

  • Homework: Check if you can see my messages on Magister and make sure to prepare one statement on a piece of paper in English that you would like to discuss with the class. We will use these in the upcoming weeks.
