Wat zijn conjunctions en waar gebruiken we ze voor?

CONJUNCTIONS

De conjunctions zijn voegwoorden zoals so, or, and, because, since, but, yet, until, before, after, when, while.

We gebruiken deze woorden om korte zinnen aan elkaar te verbinden.

Handig bij leesvaardigheid. Ze geven een functie in de zin aan.

1. I've got a brother ___ a sister.
2. It was very sunny last Sunday, ___ we went to the beach.
3. Would you like meat ___ vegetables for lunch?
4. My father likes football ___ he doesn't like basketball.
5. We aren't going to the bank ___ it is closed.
