Prefixes - Voorvoegsels
Appears in front of the root of a word.

A root is a basic word to which you can add a prefix or suffix.

Pre = before
Prefix + root of word = new word
Examples: misinformation, reset, irregular

Appears behind the root of a word.

Suf = to add something behind

Root of word + suffix = new word
Examples: Useful, happiness, government
