Tips for synchronous teaching
Keep it short, ensure you have a clear lesson plan and make sure students understand the learning objectives. ( You could share the agenda for your lesson in the google calendar prior to the lesson, also indicate what materials students need for your lesson)
Use breakout rooms (students to work together in small groups)
Interact with your students, give them some time to interact with each other.
Make sure students understand the online etiquette: chatting is allowed but spamming is not.
