Listening practise

You are about to listen to an audio fragment called 'Dress code'. It is about a girl who goes shopping for a party.

Your job is to listen to the information and answer six questions about it. 

Also, pay special attention to background noises, this can help you find out more about the setting and can give valuable information.

Je hebt je Engelse toets uitstekend gemaakt! Je docent vraagt je wat je gedaan hebt. Je vertelt dat je gewoon heel hard geleerd hebt. Wat zeg je?

What I expect in the test

• You have to answer questions about an audio fragment
• You have to know and use the words from chapter 4
• You  have to write sentences using the vocab, verbs and grammar knowledge (like stone sentences, but then your own)

• Study vocabulary chapter 4 (make sure you also know the meaning of the Dutch words!)
• Study all the irregular verbs (make it a point to really KNOW them inside out!)
• Study the stones in chapter 4 --> especially pay attention to the structure of the sentence and the grammar used.
• Study the grammar in chapter 3 & 4
