Welcome to your English lesson

After this lesson you should..

1. Know the class rules.
2. Know exactly what PTA's will be done. 
3. Know what is expected of you
4. know that English is FUN!

Class rules:

1. When you enter the classroom,  quietly take your seat, take off your jacket and oortjes. 
2. Take out your  english books (notepad etc) and pen/s. If you do not have a notepad and a pen, a note will be made on SOM and you will have to catch up on the work done duringthe lesson after your other classes for the day.  After the second time, parents and mentors will be emailed. 

Class rules:

3. No eating or drinking (except water off course) during the lesson. 

4. When we are talking and explaining, all laptops have to be closed unless we ask you to open them. 

5.????? Let's discuss any rules you would like to add.

NB: 

Al het werk dat ter beoordeling wordt ingeleverd dient ge-upload te worden in Som uitsluitend in Word formaat.  

Al het werk dat ter beoordeling wordt ingeleverd zal worden onderworpen aan een plagiaatscan. Indien er sprake is van plagiaat zal er aan het betreffende werk geen punten worden toegekend. 

Toetsen waarin schrijfvaardigheid wordt getoetst dienen geheel in de eigen woorden van de kandidaat te worden geschreven.

We shall read the Alquin Articles as per the table in your planner (This will be on SOM)

Take Note:

• Activities will be done during the lesson, but you have to do the activities specified in the table at home.  
• These activities will need to be done in your English notebook and uploaded onto SOM before the test day in order for you to get your marks.

Listening and Viewing

You are required to watch 2 documentaries per week at home and complete a Report on each one of them per week. This has to be shown to me during the first lesson of the week.

Should this not be done, you will be expected to complete the report during the inhaaluur.
