Slide 2 - Slide

The development areas at a glance:

Physical and motor development, also called sensorimotor development.
You and I say the physical development. But of course it is more than a body grows. It's also all your child learns to do with it. Walking, climbing, cycling, but also writing and drawing.

Slide 3 - Slide

Cognitive development, the development of thought. But beware, by that we not only mean thinking in the sense of learning at school, but here it is also about developing creativity and imagination. You also need brains for that!

Speech and language development,  you can now see nicely how the different areas of development are connected. The better a person can speak, the easier it becomes to share your imagination....

Slide 4 - Slide

Psychosocial development, that is the development of man in relation to other people. Loving, being able to make friends, you get the idea.

Moral development, or the field of development where man learns the difference between good and evil. An area that we desperately need, but that is the last thing we develop.
That's not surprising. We first need relationships with other people before we can start thinking about what is right and what is wrong, within such a relationship.
