I use the Simple Past for

1. actions finished in the past.
2. actions happening at the moment of speaking.
3. recently completed actions.

Typical signal words for he Simple Past are

1. already, just, so far, yet.
2. yesterday, last week, a month ago, in 2010.
3. at the moment, Listen!, Look!, now.

I add .......... to the infinitive of regular verbs.

If the regular verbs ends in -e, I only add ...... to the infinitive.

With irregular verbs I use the form in the

1. 1st column of irregular verbs
2. 2nd column of irregular verbs
3. 3rd column of irregular verbs

I use .................. to form the negative.

1. do+not+infinitive of the verb
2. have/has+not+past participle of the verb
3. did+not+infinitive of the verb

The contracted form for did + not is

1. didn't
2. didnt'
3. did'nt
4. did'n't

I use .................... in object questions.

2. did + infinitive of the verb
3. do + infinite verb

I use ................ in subject questions.

The verb be can have two forms in the Simple Past.
I use (1)........ with I, he, she, it and (2)......... with we, you, they.
