Pair / small group activity:
On the following slide, you will find 10 starts of conditional sentences. Some of them are the result of an action, some are the condition.
I will put you in small groups. The first thing you do, without telling your partner, is write the other halves to the sentences.
When you are both done, take turns reading the sentence halves that you wrote to each other, but DO NOT tell your partner which sentence this is the answer to. Your groupmates' job is to guess which sentence you're completing.
I'll do an example on the next page.
Slide 21 - Slide
Time for me to put you in breakout teams. I can and will listen in to what you are doing.
Time frame: - Write the missing halves of the sentences: 5 minutes.
Take turns reading and guessing: 10 - 15 minutes
This means that in exactly 20 minutes, I will close the breakout teams and see you back here.
