important in this lesson: 

- explain your answers fully, so complete sentences, punctuation

- read exercises carefully, so you give the answers in the way they are expected

grammar 

pay extra attention to: 

* plural words (ex 2) - some nouns are always plural, as they consists of two parts 

* a vocab exercise (ex 5) - first part is just choose words and create new explaining sentences + skip the other part, so no word exercise to bring to class...

new grammar - first conditional

- if-sentence - geeft voorwaarde aan (conditie) waarna iets zal gebeuren

- als ... dan  

- if-sentence always in present simple

- main sentence in future: will + verb

lesson 5 - writing

- filling in standard forms

- writing about past events, activities and personal experiences

new grammar - adjectives and adverbs

* adjectives - tell something about nouns (bijv. nw)

* adverbs - 'add to verb' or add to another adjective, adverb or whole sentence

- form: adj+ly 

- also look at study box page 221 for spelling rules!!
