We use the Present Simple:

• to give instructions

How:

We make the Present Simple by:

• using the whole verb (hele werkwoord)
• Adding -s or adding -es

For example:

1. She watches a movie every day.

(verb + -es  - stating a habit)

2. Water freezes at 0 degrees.

(verb + -s - stating a fact)

3. Take off your jacket when you come in. 

(whole verb (To take off)- giving instructions)

• Groups of 3
• Choose an animal
• look up two facts about that animal (2 facts per person)
• Write two fact on each post-it note using the Present Simple
• Each groep presents their own facts to the class
