- bij dingen -> the door of the car

- bij locaties -> London is the capital of England. 

Difference between 's / '

Is it plural (meervoud) and it ends with a s?

> Yes, then add    '     afterward the word

> Example: The boys' changing room.

> Example: It's ten minutes' walk from here. 

bij pers / dieren die in het meervoud eindigen op een     - s  + '

bij uitdrukkingen van tijd in meervoud --> A two weeks' holiday.

Is it singular (enkelvoud)? > Yes then add 's

> Example: The cat's whiskers

> Example: That is Thomas's bike there.

Is it plural but doesn't end in a s ? > Yes then add 's

> Example: The people's choice
