Exceptions 
To be (zijn): (I am/you are/he, she, it is/ we are/you are).
Do: (I always do the dishes. She always does the dishes)
Have: (I have a great idea. He has a great idea).

Words that end in -ch -sh: 
These words get an extra ''e'' at the end.
I wash my clothes. My mother washes my clothes.

It is not always clearly stated whether we're talking about "he, she, it, you, we, or they''.

The sentences will often use names to avoid using the words above.

Example: Mia and I walk to school together every single day.

De duurvorm in de tegenwoordige tijd noemen we in de Engelse taal de present continuous. Kijk bijvoorbeeld naar de volgende zinnen: Ik ben aan het sporten. We zijn aan het zingen. Ik sta te schreeuwen. Bram zit te gamen. Deze zinnen vinden allemaal NU plaats.


You make the present continuous with "am, are, is + verb + ing''.
You always need a form of to be before the verb!
