  • een pion (puntenslijper, muntje, iets kleins)

Rules
Play in a group of 3
Need: a board and 3 dice (red, green, yellow), 3 counters
Roll the dice:
  • Yellow: the number of places you move forward.
  • Use the verb on which you land to make a sentence.
  • Green: the type of sentence you need to make
  • Red: the personal pronoun which is the subject of your sentence
Your group decides: Is your sentence correct? Stay on your square.
Incorrect? Move your counter back to where your were.
Write down the sentences which your group creates.

Yellow: 1 -> move 1 square forward, land on sleep
Green: 4 -> create an affirmative sentence
Red: 3 -> use the pronoun he

Example sentence:
He sleeps on the floor.

Battleships
There are two battlefields on your worksheet. Write the 5 subjects in the TOP battlefield. You choose where you write the words. Write ONE letter in ONE square. You can write the subjects horizontally or vertically.

Use the BOTTOM battlefield to make
notes about your opponent's ship.

How to play
  • Find out where your classmate’s subjects are on the worksheet. Guess where a subject is by asking for a time and day. For example: ‘What do you have on Tuesday at half past ten?’
  • Is there no letter there? Your classmate can respond with ‘I have nothing then.’
  • Is there a letter of a subject there? Your classmate can respond with ‘I have English then.’  You have ‘hit’ your classmate’s ‘ship’. You sink the ship by hitting all the letters of the subject.
  • Use the BOTTOM battlefield to make notes about your opponent's ship.
  • Did you hit your classmate’s ship? You can guess again.
  • Did you sink all your classmate’s ships? You win!
