Wat is de Present Perfect?
De Present Perfect gebruik je in de volgende situaties:
  1. Als iets in het verleden begonnen is en nu nogsteeds doorgaat: I have lived here for ten years.
  2. Als iets net is afgelopen (en je merkt nu het resultaat): I have just lost my keys!
  3. Als iets in het verleden is gebeurd maar er staat niet wanneer of het niet belangrijk is wanneer: My parents have bought a dog.
  4. Om te praten over ervaringen tot nu toe: I have never been to France.

Signaalwoorden: for, yet, never, ever, just, already, since, lately

  • De regel is: 
    onderwerp + have/has + voltooid deelwoord 
  • Voltooid deelwoord is:
    Regelmatige ww: +ed (cleaned, dried, washed, laughed)
    Onregelmatige ww: 3e rijtje checkbook blz. 149 (gone, shown, beat, been): je hebt ze ook geschreven op jouw flashcards!
  • Onregelmatige werkwoorden moet je dus uit je hoofd leren!

  • Have you studied your verbs yet? 
  • I asked him, "Have you done your homework?"
