2. Als iets in het verleden is gebeurd, maar het exacte moment niet bekend/niet belangrijk/niet bestaand is

De Past Simple gebruik je wanneer iets in het verleden is gebeurd en nu AFGELOPEN is
En wanneer er een verwijzing naar het verleden in de zin staat (bv: yesterday, last week, two days ago, in 2015)
