subject and object questions

subject questions: we willen weten wie de actie uitvoert:
Who broke the lamp?

object questions: we willen informatie over hoe/wanneer/waarom etc. iets is gebeurt:

Where does Mary work?
het vraagwoord staat als het ware vóór de vraagzin "does Mary work?"

indirect questions

In plaats van "where is the bank?" vraag je "could you tell me where the bank is?"

Can you remember if I locked the door?
