They are often used to connect two sentences:
These are the tickets. They cost $20.
These are the tickets that cost $20.

used in the present, past and future.

Used in the present
Must: When we think it is very important or necessary to do something. Vaak gebruikt bij instructies. (musn't)

Have to: When we think it is important or necessary to do something, often because it is a general rule or are facts. (don't have to)
