A blast from the past

Introduction

Many people love history. They want to know what happened hundreds of years ago. Or only a year ago. And some people want to really experience what it was like hundreds of years ago. You can re-enact history to find this out: dress up in historical clothes and live and eat like it is 1573 or 1789. If you want to re-enact something, you have to find out what happened first. In this step, you are going to read and write stories about people in history. Let's get back in time! 

In this step

1. You explain the main ideas of different texts.
2. You talk about different emotions.
   
3. You use your own words and sentences.
4. You describe what people did and how they felt by reading historical diaries.
5. Expand your vocabulary by using new words.
