                              Reading and Use of English: Part 1 and 4 and reading                                                    strategies

Answer the questions from the previous slide.
1. What's the difference between a pidgin language and a creole language?
2. What is a lingua franca?
3. When different languages come into contact, the dominant language slightly changes (often simplifies). How can we find traces of this in American English?
