Voor deze les heb ik een aantal doelen gesteld:

1. Aan het einde van deze les kun je de present simple en de present continuous naast elkaar gebruiken.

             Dus je moet het verschil in gebruik kennen.

2. Aan het einde van deze les heb je geoefend met ReadTheory.

In de volgende dia's krijg  je een herhaling van de present simple en de present continuous

Present Simple

Zoals jullie in de video hebben gehoord, maken we gebruik van de present simple bij de volgende 3 dingen:

1. Feit
2. Gewoonte
3. Regelmatig gebeurt

Present Simple

Bevestigende zinnen:
I play football
You play football
He/she/it plays football
We play football
You play fooball
They play football

Present Simple

Het is je opgevallen dat je bij de 'he/she/it' altijd een 's' moet plakken aan het gehele werkwoord.

Lara dances a lot.
Mike drinks milk every morning.
The dog always barks at his owner.

Present Simple

Negatieve zinnen:
I don't walk alone.
You don't walk alone.
He/she/it doesn't walk alone.
We don't walk alone.

You don't walk alone.
They don't walk alone.

Present Simple

Er vallen nu 3 dingen op:
1. Het werkwoord walk verandert helemaal niet.
2. We gebruiken nu don't/doesn't.
3. We gebruiken doesn't alleen bij he/she/it.

Dit zijn regels die je goed moet onthouden!

Present Simple

Vragende zinnen:
Do I shout at the neighbour every day?
Do you shout at the neighbour every day?
Does he/she/it shout at the neighbour every day?
Do you shout at the neighbour every day?

Do we shout at the neighbour every day?
Do they shout at the neighbour every day?

Present Simple

Er vallen nu 3 dingen op:
1. Het werkwoord shout verandert helemaal niet.
2. We gebruiken nu do/does.
3. We gebruiken does alleen bij he/she/it.
4. We beginnen de vraag altijd met do/does.

Present Continuous

We gebruiken de present continuous om aan te geven dat iets aan de gang is, of bezig is.

Vorm: 'to be' + werkwoord + ing
Voorbeeld: She is walking to the store.

Present Continuous

Het is je opgevallen dat je bij de present continuous altijd de vorm van 'to be' (am/are/is) gebruikt.
Je plakt altijd -ing achter het hele werkwoord.

Lara is dancing with Mike

Mike is drinking milk while watching TV.

The dog is barking at the neighbours.

Present Continuous

Negatieve zinnen:

I am not walking alone.

You aren't walking alone.

He/she/it isn't walking alone.

We aren't walking alone.

You aren't walking alone.

They aren't walking alone.

Present Continuous

Het is je opgevallen dat je bij de negatieve zinnen in de present continuous altijd not bij de vorm van 'to be' (am/are/is) gebruikt.

Je plakt altijd -ing achter het hele werkwoord.

Lara isn't dancing with Mike

Mike isn't drinking milk while watching TV.

The dogs aren't barking at the neighbours.

Present Continuous

Vragende zinnen:

Am I shouting at the neighbour every day?

Are you shouting at the neighbour every day?

Is he/she/it shouting at the neighbour every day?

Are you shouting at the neighbour every day?

Are we shouting at the neighbour every day?

Are they shouting at the neighbour every day?

Present Continuous

Het is je opgevallen dat je bij de vragende zinnen in de present continuous altijd de vorm van 'to be' (am/are/is) aan het begin van de zin gebruikt.

Je plakt altijd -ing achter het hele werkwoord.

Is Lara dancing with Mike

Am I being rude at the moment?

Are Lars and Karen playing football now?
