A mock trial is an act or imitation trial.

Mock trial is also the name of a program in which students participate in rehearsed trials to learn about the legal system in a competitive manner.

The roles 
1. Defence witness takes the stand: direct examination & cross examination  (objections included)
2. Prosecution witness takes the stand: direct examination & cross examination ( objections Included)
3. The accused takes the stand: same procedure as mentioned above
