Vraag: Kan het niet spoke zijn in deze zin?

Antwoord: Het gaat over iets dat vaker is gebeurd over een langere periode tot nu toe. Het signaalwoordje for staat ook in de zin.

Dit kan wel: We spoke to her two weeks ago.
Dan gaat het om één moment in het verleden dat is afgelopen.

Hoe weet je of een zin een vragende of ontkennende zin is?

Hoe weet je of een zin een vragende of ontkennende zin is?

Vraagzin: Have you washed your coat or is it still dirty?
- bevat een vraagteken aan het einde.
- begint met een (hulp)werkwoord of een vraagwoord (who...).

Ontkennende zin: I haven't washed it yet.
- bevat een ontkennend woord zoals no/not/never, deze staat vaak bij het (hulp)werkwoord.

Wanneer gebruik je "did" bij de Present Perfect?

1. Vooral in vraagzinnen
2. Vooral in ontkennende zinnen

did vs. have/has

In de Present Perfect gebruik je NOOIT did.

In de Present Perfect gebruik je ALTIJD have/has.

Did you go to the party last night? = Past Simple

I haven't been to a party for months. = Present Perfect

Wanneer have of has?

I have lost my keys.

You have brought cake.

He/She has never met him.

We have known each other for a long time.

They have found your phone.
