about the Past Simple
and Past Continuous?

Slide 12 - Mind map

Past Simple - Past Continuous

Slide 13 - Slide

Past Continuous

Slide 14 - Slide

Past Continuous
Hoe maak je die?

De regel is vrij eenvoudig:
  • Past Continuous = was / were + werkwoord+ing

  1. was hoort bij enkelvoud (I, he, she, it)
  2. were hoort bij meervoud en bij you (you, we, you, they)

Slide 15 - Slide

The puzzle game
1. You will receive some cards
2. You have to puzzle and make as many sentences you can!
3. Write them down
4. WATCH OUT!!
They all have to be NEW sentences! Don't just change one word.

THEY ARE ALL PAST CONTINUOUS AND PAST SIMPLE!
