Goals
  • At the end of the lesson you can put place and time in the correct order.

Slide 2 - Slide

Place before time
  • Place and time are usually at the end of a sentence.
  • When both place and time are in a sentence, place comes before time.
    E.g.: I went to school at 7.30 this morning.
  • You can also put time at the beginning of a sentence. This is used voor emphasis (nadruk) + needs a comma.
    E.g.: In 2012, we went to Paris.
