Wat zijn het?

-Korte vraag aan het eind van de zin om bevestiging te vragen

-Vergelijkbaar met "ja toch?", "toch?", "vind je niet?", "niet waar?"

-Herhaal de persoonsvorm + onderwerp uit de hoofdzin

              She is watching that new Netflix show, isn't she?

                                                   Vorm van 'to be': am / are / is

Als hoofdzin positief is, wordt de question tag negatief 

> You are a runner, aren't you?

Als hoofdzin negatief is wordt de question tag positief 

> She isn't happy, is she?

QUESTION TAGS - 'to be'

LET OP!

• Een negatieve question tag met "I" , krijgt een andere vorm (deze moet je uit je hoofd leren).
           - I am a good basketball player, aren't I? 
  
  
• Positieve question tag met "I":  wél gewoon 'am I' 
           -I am not a good basketball player, am I?)

Hoofdzin positief = question tag negatief

> You can do cartwheels, can't you?

Hoofdzin negatief =question tag positief

Een zin bestaat uit een hoofdzin en een tag question.
Als de hoofdzin positief is (+) dan is de Tag question:

1. positief (+)
2. negatief (-)

Hoe maak je een Question Tag?

1. Het ww in de zin maak je in de QT positief of negatief
2. Het ww in de zin maak je altijd negatief in de Question Tag,
3. Het ww in de zin maak je altijd positief in de Question Tag.
4. Je schrijft altijd ed in een Question Tag.

1. Daarmee stel je een vraag.
2. Om de vraag nogmaals kort te herhalen.
3. Om om bevestiging te vragen.
