Attendance questions:
Cat or dog?

Slide 11 - Slide

Once the bell rings, students find their seats and take out their homework and any materials for that day. I announce the daily attendance question. Then, I call out students’ names alphabetically and they respond quickly with their answer.
Ex: If the question was “Ketchup or mustard?”, I would call the name, “Ashley”, and they would respond, “Ketchup”, and so on and so forth.
If students don’t wish to participate for that particular question, they can say “pass”,“here”, or “I don’t know”.
