GRAMMAR 11 - Vragen maken met have en have got

Eerst weer even opwarmen...

I have - ik heb

You have - jij hebt

We have - wij hebben

You have - jullie hebben

They have - zij hebben

En...

He has - hij heeft

She has - zij heeft

It has - het heeft

Have en have got...

Het is wat verwarrend, maar eigenlijk helemaal niet moeilijk.

Have en have got betekenen BEIDE HETZELFDE, namelijk het werkwoord 'hebben'. 

Vragen maken met have

Bij I, you, we en they begint de vraag met do.

Voorbeeld: 

You have a tidy room.

Vraagzin:

Do you have a tidy room?

Voorbeeld: 

They have a summer house.

Vraagzin:

Do they have a summer house?

Bij he, she en it begint de vraag met does. 

Bij does verandert has in have.

Voorbeeld:

She has her own room.

Vraagzin:

Does she have her own room?

Voorbeeld: 

It has a big garden.

Vraagzin: 

Does it have a big garden?

Vragen maken met have got

Bij I, you, we en they gebruik je have got. 

Bij vragen met have got zet je have vooraan in de zin.

Voorbeeld:

I have got a bigger room.

Vraagzin:

Have I got a bigger room?

Voorbeeld:

You have got a nice room.

Vraagzin:

Have you got a nice room?

Voorbeeld:

We have got the same carpet.

Vraagzin:

Have we got the same carpet?

Bij he, she en it gebruik je has got. Bij vragen met has got zet je has vooraan in de zin.

Voorbeeld:

He has got a bunk bed.

Vraagzin:

Has he got a bunkbed?

Voorbeeld:

She has got a messy room.

Vraagzin:

Has she got a messy room?

They have a summer house.

They have got a cosy house.

You have got a beautiful garden.

1. Have you a beautiful garden?
2. Do you have a beautiful garden?
3. Has you got a beautiful garden?
4. Have you got a beautiful garden?

GRAMMAR 12 - Duurvorm

Je gebruikt de duurvorm om te zeggen dat iets NU aan de gang is of dat iemand iets NU aan het doen is.

De duurvorm maak je met am, is of are, gevolgd door het werkwoord +ing.

Voorbeelden

I am training foar a match.

Alice is reading a book.

We are watching a film.

My brothers are doing the dishes.

Maar...

Soms verandert de spelling als je +ing toevoegd. Bij een werkwoord dat eindigt op een e, valt de e weg.

Zoals bij de werkwoorden have, bake en ride...

I am having lunch.

My mum is baking a apple pie.

Thomas is riding his bike.

Welke zin is goed?

1. He am swimming
2. He is swimming
3. He are swimming

Welke zin is goed?

1. Mark playing hockey
2. Mark am playing hockey
3. Mark is playing hockey

Welke zin is goed?

1. She sing a song
2. She is sing a song
3. She is singing a song

Welke zin is goed?

1. He is eating a hamburger
2. He is eat a hamburger
3. He eat a hamburger

Welke zin is goed?

1. Dad mow the lawn
2. Dad is mowing te lawn
3. Dad is mow the lawn
4. Mowing dad the lawn is

Maak de zin af.
I ............. a test (do)

All the boys and girls ...... (swim)

My little brother ......... in the sand. (play)

We ............ in the rain (dance)

Tom and Paul ........... a tree house (build)

The teacher ............ the next exercise (explain)
