Introduction to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity.

17 Goals for People, for Planet
The Sustainable Development Goals are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of everyone, everywhere. The 17 Goals were adopted by all UN Member States in 2015, as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which set out a 15-year plan to achieve the Goals.

Leerlingen hebben 1 doel gekozen en gaan daar een week mee aan het werk, proberen elke dag iets heel kleins te doen, die leggen zij vast, als een soort van dagboek. Na een week ga zij na of het iets uitgemaakt. Dit dagboek en het resultaat zullen zij oploaden in Simulise.
Assignment 1:
#SDGCHALLENGE: 
Choose 1 of the SDG and work on it for one week, small things, no plastic bags for example, try to recycle etc. 
Make a logbook/ diary and write down the end result after a week.
