Future tense met 'to be going to':
Je gebruikt 'to be + going to' + hele ww om aan te geven dat iets in de toekomst gaat gebeuren als:

  • je iets van plan bent. (Voornemen)
  • er iets van tevoren gepland is.
  • of je bewijs heb voor iets dat zéker gaat gebeuren, 
Let op!:
Je gebruikt een vorm van 'to be'. 
Deze wordt altijd aangepast aan het onderwerp. 

  • I  AM going to + hele ww
  • He / she / it  IS going to + hele ww
  • You / we / they  ARE going to + hele ww

  • Ontkennende (-) zin: am not, is not (isn't), are not (aren't).
  • Vragende zin (?): begint met am, are of is
