    1 lettergreep - Sweet 
    -er of -est achter bijvoeglijk naamwoord. 
    Let op! Eindigt het met c-v-c (bijv. fat), dan dubbele c (faTTer).

    2 lettergrepen -
    -er, -le, -ow en -y krijgen -er of -est (net zoals hierboven). Let op dat je de -y weer vervangt met -i.  Alle andere krijgen more/most of less/least

    3 lettergrepen -
    krijgen more .... than /the most ... of less .... than /the least...
