Tombili - The lazy cat
This famous cat's name was Tombili. The name Tombili, actually means 'chubby pet'.  He became famous because of his lazy pose. He was an overnight internet sensation. Everyday, he reclined lazily on this curb in Istanbul and stared out at the passing traffic. The people in this local neighbourhood loved this chubby cat for his relaxed attitude.  Tourists always took photos of him. Sadly he passed away, so people put up a  beautiful bronze statue of him.
