Present Simple

always, never, every day/week/month, usually, frequently, etc. 

Past Simple

Present Continuous

- Houdt voor een langere periode aan

Examples:

De Present Continuous wordt als volgt opgebouwd:

am/is/are & werkwoord +ing

Past Continuous

Heeft een langere tijd geduurd in het verleden

Some examples:

We were walking to school.

She was leaving the office while her friend was cleaning the windows.

John and Lisa were listening to music.

De past continuous wordt als volgt opgebouwd:

was/were & werkwoord +ing

Je vindt de past continuous vaak in dezelfde 

zin als dat je de past simple vindt,
