Prince Maurice (Maurits)

William of Orange is succeeded by his son Maurice: he becomes stadtholder.
He is a great military leader and becomes the leader of the Dutch State army to fight against the Spanish.
Johan van Oldenbarnevelt leads the States General as the state attorney.
