Past Perfect  gebruik  je voor verleden -> verder terug in tijd. (meestal in combinatie met Past Simple.

I told him that I had forgotten my keys.

De Past Perfect wordt vaak gebruikt bij tijdsbepalingen zoals when, after, as soon as en just.

When Dawn had arrived we left.

After I had bought my new computer, I sold my old one.

Voor de eerste actie (tijdlijn) gebruik je : past perfect!

Vorm: had + voltooid deelwoord
