TOO
'Too' means there is a lot of something. It has a negative connotation.

The coffee was too hot. The car was traveling too fast.

ENOUGH
'Enough' means you have what you need.

I was finally able to get enough rest last night.

He was frightened enough that he screamed for help.

SO
'So' means very
'So' is generally used before an adverb or adjective.

She's so talented. She plays the violin so well.

SUCH
'Such' means very.  - before a noun

They are such beautiful children.

This is such a beautiful garden.

Past continuous
- Past tense, takes some time
- Past before the past
- Was/were +ing
- Signaalwoorden: while, when.

I was walking to school when I heard someone scream.

You weren't walking to school when you heard someone scream.

Was she walking to school when she heard someone scream?

Past perfect
- Completed in the past, before something else happened
= Had + past participle

- When he had finished his lunch, he went home.


Past perfect continuous

- Completed in the past, took some time. Focus on duration.
= Had + been + present participle
(+ing)

- I had been studying English for six years and I finally graduated in 2021.
