Je kent het verschil tussen -er/-est en more/most.

Korte woorden

-er / -est

Small - smaller - smallest

Nice - nicer - nicest

Lange woorden

twee lettergrepen of meer

more / most

She is more beautiful than her sister. 

woorden met twee lettergrepen

 en toch -er / -est  

Woorden die eindigen op -le / -er / -ow / -y : -er / -est

DUS:

simple - simpler - simplest

clever - cleverer - cleverest

narrow - narrower - narrowest

happy - happier - happiest

alle andere woorden krijgen more / most

De uitzonderingen:

good - better - best

bad - worse - worst
