Present Simple
Als je zegt dat iets altijd, vaak, nooit of soms gebeurt, gebruik je het hele werkwoord of het hele werkwoord + -s. 
Dit heet de present simple.

Bij he, she en it gebruik je het hele werkwoord + -s.
Bij I, we, they en you gebruik je het hele werkwoord.


I see Hazaar in the helicopter.
He wants to kill the President.
We run to the trees.
She plays the guitar

Eindigt een woord op een sisklank (-s, -sh, -x) of op een medeklinker (+ y)
Dan verandert er iets in de spelling als je er -s aan vastplakt.


Eindigt een woord op een medeklinker? 
worry – He worries about his father.


Eindigt een woord op een sisklank (-s, -sh, -x)
kiss – She always kisses her dog

Als je duidelijk wilt maken dat iets nu gebeurt, dan gebruik je de present continuous.


Zo maak je de present continuous:
am/are/is + werkwoord + -ing:


I am working
you are working
he/she/it is working
we are working
they are working
