Wanneer gebruik je de present s
Je gebruikt de present simple als iets altijd, nooit of regelmatig gebeurt.
Je kunt dit vaak zien aan signaalwoorden zoals: always, sometimes, never etc.

Voor I, you, we and they gebruik je enkel het hele werkwoord (- to).

Uitzondering shit-regel:
Eindigd het werkwoord op een sisklank? + es
watch --> watches, fix --> fixes, wash --> washes. 

Eindigd het werkwoord op een medeklinker + y? -y +ies. 
try --> tries, cry --> cries, enjoy --> enjoys

Verander de volgende zin naar een vraag:

Wanneer je de present simple in een vraag gebruikt, doe je:
vervoeging van to do + onderwerp + hele werkwoord (zonder 'to'). 
Let op! Bij he/she/it vervoeg je enkel de vorm van 'to do'.

Wanneer je een zin in de Present Simpel ontkennend maakt, doe je: Do/does + not + werkwoord
