Past simple:

• Started + Ended in the past.
• Verb + ed (Worked, played, walked)
• Signaal woorden: tijdsbepaling (yesterday, last week, an hour ago, etc.)

• Started + Ended + Went on for a while.
• Was/Were + verb in ing form.
