Route dedicated service RDS
  • On flights to Japan, among others, an airline serves special local dishes, this is called RDS (route dedicated service).
  • The passenger then has the choice between a Western or Japanese meal.
  • On these flights, special Japanese green tea is also served from special teapots.

Assignment:

  • form groups of 4/5 and make a presentation about Japan lasting about 3 minutes
  • Through a presentation, creatively show your ideas of what you can do during your free time in Tokyo. 
  • Think about something cultural, an original restaurant and something sporty
  • In general, people in Japan do not speak English very well. Look for Japanese words together that could be useful during this short stay in Japan

  • Unsafe situation? The crew solves it (where possible)!
  • Material (equipment) is available on board for this purpose.
  • This equipment will have to be checked for presence and condition before take-off.
